Wyndham's $1m Draw on the Gold Coast

AN38-4-events-Wyndham-FriendsFirstA Sydney couple were given the chance to win $1 million at Wyndham Hotel Surfers Paradise with Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific's "Friends First Win a Million" by Wyndham Competition.

Tapas and Anukampa Padhi from Homebush in Sydney were given the million dollar chance after winning a three-night holiday to the Gold Coast with their children staying at Wyndham Vacation Resorts Kirra Beach as well as $7000 cash, earlier this year.

The competition was part of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific's Refer a Friend campaign available to its vacation owners in the WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham. The WorldMark owners who referred their friends to the club as part of the campaign went in the draw for their chance to win the $1 million.

The Friends First "Win a Million" competition was a game of chance with Mr and Mrs Padhi having to choose one of 200 bags for their chance to win. They may not have won the major cash prize on the day but they were still grateful for the once in a lifetime opportunity and the holiday to the Gold Coast.

Mr and Mrs Padhi said they had submitted about 15 friend referrals in Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific's Refer a Friend campaign.

The Padhi family is among more than 44,500 owners in the WorldMark South Pacific Club who have access to 23 resorts across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
