Qantas Moves into Accommodation Bookings

AN41-2-news-hooroo logoIn a strange move Qantas is about to enter the highly competitive world of online accommodation bookings. At a time when it is struggling with competition in its core business, Qantas will launch Hooroo on 18 July to offer "deals" to travellers.

The Hooroo website is already up and running and taking email registrations.

Hooro, according to the airline, is a social travel site aimed at "delivering inspirational holiday ideas" and for people to share their experiences, tips and recommendations.
