The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre has appointed Stephen Wood as the new director of operations, overseeing the delivery of all events at the venue.
Stephen, who has been acting director of operations since January 2010, joined the centre in February 2000 in the catering and event services division.
Over the past 11 years he has built his event experience over a range of roles, holding the positions of event manager, account manager and director of sales – national.
