Asia-Pacific boss for Etihad named

Etihad Airways has appointed Lindsay White as regional general manager for Asia Pacific South and Australasia.

Lindsay takes over from Cramer Ball who has been seconded to Air Seychelles, where he has been appointed chief executive officer. He was previously Etihad Airways’ general manager Australia and New Zealand, a position he has held since September 2008. Prior to that, he was country manager Malaysia.

He has over 30 years of aviation industry experience, having started his career as a sales executive with British Caledonian Airways in his native Scotland in 1982. Before joining Etihad Airways, he held senior management positions at Gulf Air and British Airways.
