Metro Inn Miranda adds new Superior Floor

Increased demand for accommodation in the Sutherland Shire has resulted in Metro Inn Miranda adding a new penthouse level with 14 superior rooms, providing guests with a choice of superior accommodation with spectacular views over Sydney and Botany Bay.

Located at the highest point of Miranda and popular with business and leisure travellers alike, Metro Inn Miranda has always been heavily booked with guests having to make a reservation well in advance of their stay. Manager Dale Harlick said when the top floor of the seven-storey building became available in 2011, it presented the ideal opportunity to add to the motel’s existing 40 family and standard rooms with a new level of accommodation.

Previously used for office space, the penthouse level has now been converted into 14 new superior rooms, all with oversized windows to allow guests to take advantage of the breathtaking views. Corner suites have kitchenettes and all rooms are modern and tastefully decorated, providing a new level of outstanding comfort and quality without the hefty prices of the city. Many of the new rooms have disabled access.

The addition of a superior level ushers in a new era for the hotel, which will soon change its name to Metro Hotel to mark its improved accommodation offering. Yet Mr Harlick said the hotel would not change its focus on providing exceptional hospitality, service and dedication to excellence for which it is renowned.

Located across the road from Westfield Miranda and close to Cronulla Beach, Brighton Le-Sands and the Royal National Park, many leisure travellers use Metro Inn Miranda as a holiday base, also enjoying the convenience of shops and restaurants nearby.

All rooms at Metro Inn Miranda have en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and telephone, television with selected Foxtel channels, wireless Internet, tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge. A two-room apartment with a kitchenette and family rooms are also offered. DVD players and movies are available for hire. A barbecue is available on the balcony for guests to use. Laundry and dry-cleaning services are also available, as is parking for all guests.
