Two Accor inbound specialists have been recognised by their peers at the ATEC Awards, with Bernie Schulz taking home the prize for Outstanding Contribution to Industry while Kate Marshal won the Len Taylor Young ATEC Award.
The pair has been instrumental in introducing Accor’s Optimum Service Standards for Chinese and Indian visitors, which help prepare hotels to better welcome visitors from these two countries and which will benefit the whole Australian inbound industry by making visitors from India and China know that Australia is ready to host them.
With almost 50 years of experience between them, Bernie and Kate are great role models for the industry, with Bernie having been a pioneer for emerging markets for decades and Kate representing the passion of the next generation. The ATEC Awards are voted by more than 1000 members across the tourism industry encompassing distributors, product suppliers and service providers.
