Tourism Fraser Coast has announced the appointment of experienced tourism and marketing professional Tas Webber to the position of membership and marketing coordinator.
A public relations and business graduate from the University of Southern Queensland, Tas will be responsible for attracting new members and assisting with all aspects of marketing and developing the destination on behalf of the local tourism industry, businesses, communities and local government.
Passionate about local tourism, Tas has been based in the Fraser Coast region for the past seven years where he has worked for award-winning youth hostel Colonial Village YHA in a variety of roles including activities and night manager, supervisor and tour and accommodation sales.
