Accor has announced the appointment of Bernard Boller to the role of general manager at Fairmont Resort MGallery.
Bernie began his career at the North Beach Hotel (Novotel Northbeach) Wollongong in the mid 1980s, before moving to Newcastle to manage the redevelopment of the former Travelodge Newcastle. Previously playing a significant role for the Toga Group, including the opening of multiple properties and the establishing of the group’s brands across the country, Bernie was also GM of the Ayers Rock Resorts and associated business, where he engaged in numerous indigenous, tourism and environmental issues.
Bernie also formally served on the Boards of Newcastle Tourism and the Hunter Regional Tourism Organisation, established a relationship with the Blue Mountains International Hotel School, and served on the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park Joint Management Partnership, the executive committee of Tourism Central Australia and the Tourism Consultative Committee of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park.
