Baillie Lodges Takes on Longitude 131°

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia has announced that its resort Longitude 131° at Uluru will be operated by Baillie Lodges from 1 November.

The agreement will allow the iconic property to join with Baillie Lodges’ other resorts – Southern Ocean Lodge, Capella Lodge – both of which are part of the Luxury Lodges of Australia.
“We are excited and honored to be able to steer Longitude 131° into its second decade,” said James Baillie.

Future plans include the refurbishment and expansion of the luxury tents to include new interiors inspired by indigenous heritage. A new dune top retreat with infinity pool, lounging and dining deck for sundowners with views of both Uluru and Kata Tjuta is also planned. The addition of new premium canopy suites that will include expansive indoor/outdoor lounging, fireplace and a stunning edgeless pool fronting Uluru.
