Hope Island turns it on
The latest Accommodation Industry Golf Club day was held at Links Hope Island golf course on 21 March, and what a great day it was. Over 80 members enjoyed an immaculate golf course with perfect weather, sunshine (but not too hot) and very little wind.
Once again Tracey Taylor excelled in providing a multitude of benefits for those playing:
• First, playing the championship course with motorised buggies
• A goody bag (courtesy of the sponsors) that included golf balls a drink and chips plus info on our sponsors products.
• Free practice at the range before playing
• Free lunch vouchers and drink on course.
• Ham baguette meal after the game
That was just the start as Tracey with the help of sponsors had the following events on course:
• National Australia Bank suppled ice cold beer and soft drinks on hole 7
• Watt Utilities had lucky number draw to win 5 prizes on hole 18
• Wallaby Pest Control had a sausage sizzle on hole 10
• Roam’in Pizza were cooking sensational pizzas for players on hole 1.
• Australian Valuers had bottle of scotch business card prize on hole 14
• Globe Interiors on hole 17 had a fantastic stressless leather chair and stool valued at $2000. Every member playing was entered into the draw to win the chair which will be drawn at the Christmas golf day.
• Mahoney Lawyers supplied golf balls to all players

Being a fun day the players were divided into red and blue teams whereby the losers must shout their opponents a drink after the game. The blue team was the winner on the day. This was enjoyed along with a beautiful hot ham and salad dinner before presentation of the prizes.

2nd Placed Team – Justin Taylor; Michael Newton – Score 50 points c/b

4th Placed Team – Col Fields; Stuart Petherick – Score 47 points
