Coffs Harbour to get 82-suite hotel
The redevelopment of the 50-year old Midway Motor Inn and Villas in Coffs Harbour has been given council approval.
The $18 million Signature Hotel replaces an earlier plan for a $52 million integrated business and accommodation development. The new design by developer BH Group will focus on tourist accommodation, food and MICE and have buildings of up to three storeys.
The project includes an 82-suite hotel/motel, manager’s flat, 100-seat restaurant, 25-seat bar, 128m² function area, underground parking, pool, gym and cabana.
The Midway was inundated in the 1996 and 2009 floods.
