Parramatta to get 11-tower complex

A $550 million development on the Parramatta River will add 774 up-market apartments in 11 towers – ranging from two to 12 storeys – to the Parramatta accommodation supply.

Promenade will be designed by William Smart and developed by Starryland Australia, the Australian division of Fuxing Huiyu Real Estate Company Ltd, the 23rd largest of its kind in China.

At the heart of the 5ha development will be a new square, connecting a bridge over the river to link Promenade with Parramatta’s CBD. Promenade will also allocate 1.2ha of landscaped foreshore and an extensive walking and cycling network.

Hao Liu, the director of Starryland Australia said, “Promenade is in keeping with the style of residential communities we create in China, and we want it to set a benchmark to establish our credentials in Sydney as a quality developer.”

Promenade will be developed in three stages, the first being two towers comprising 277 apartments and work is scheduled to commence next month.
