Wollongong hotel is on the market

The 4½-star Chifley Hotel Wollongong is being put up for sale through Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.

The sale is open to expressions of interest only but it is believed that the hotel, which opened in 2010, is likely to sell for more than $25 million.

The hotel is owned by a Brisbane-based company and has 168 guest rooms and features a restaurant, bar, business centre, gymnasium, swimming pool plus a range of conference and meeting facilities.

The Chifley is managed by SilverNeedle Hospitality.
