Woolloongabba set to get 11 new towers

Brisbane developer Pellicano and construction group Perri Projects have announced a $550 million mixed-use complex for Woolloongabba, with 1000 apartments over seven towers.

South City Square, according to Perri Projects director David Scalzo, will be developed during the next five to seven years.

Meanwhile, Aria Property Group has paid $10 million to consolidate a Woolloongabba site to develop a residential project.

Brisbane City Council sold a 4403m² site at 17 Gibbon St while the Nazareth Lutheran Church of South Brisbane sold the second 2667m² block, that fronts Hubert St, off the market through Colliers International.

Developer Tim Forrester’s Aria Property Group plans to develop an integrated residential project with four individually designed buildings on the large Woolloongabba site.
