Brisbane suburb Upper Mount Gravatt could soon have a new hotel and conference venue. A 12-storey, $22 million hotel has been approved for a site about 500 metres from Garden City shopping centre in Upper Mount Gravatt.
The hotel features 101 hotel units, 52 apartments, a ground-floor conference venue, boardroom, Internet lounge and restaurant plus two levels of underground parking with 134 car spaces.
The project, , also has 52 residential units and 101 hotel units.
The hotel rooms are a mix of one, two and three bedrooms, while the units average about 28 square metres and target longer-term guests.
Entrance to the hotel will be from Freda Street, near the corner of Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road.
