Construction of the second Space Hotel will begin in Melbourne’s St Kilda on 24th November.
Just a stone’s throw from the beach and Acland Street, the hostel will take up to 264 guests in 89 rooms including dorms and private hotel-style rooms. The nine-storey backpacker resort should be open in 2016.
Yossi Gallor, chief operating officer of Space Hotel said, “St Kilda was the obvious choice for us. The new property will host a number of modern features that were not previously available to us, as well as having a strong emphasis on the design and layout.”
The new Space Hotel will feature an in-house cinema, café/bar, gym and communal kitchen, as well as boasting ocean views.
