Plans for 23-storey Adelaide complex

Western Core Projects has revealed a development application for the 83m $70 million apartment tower to be built adjacent to the Federal Court building on Adelaide’s Angas St.

Western Core Projects director Steve Wise said Adelaide’s emerging CBD apartment market prompted the developer to kickstart the Woods Bagot designed 23 storey project.

Western Core Projects is a joint venture between Plenary Group and Melbourne-based Flagship Property Holdings.

The complex includes sky gardens at the top of the building’s five-storey podium aimed at recreating a traditional verandah.

Flagship is also planning for a high-rise development at Kent Town following last month’s $7.53 million acquisition of the Royal Hotel site.
