Triple tower for Perth
Developer EG Funds wants to transform the Northbridge skyline in Perth with its $300 million triple-tower – one of 52-storeys – development at the former Megamart site.
The first stage, the 150m tall Beaufort Tower, at the corner of Beaufort and James streets, will become WA’s tallest residential building. Its height will only be eclipsed by Central Park (249m), Brookfield Place (244m), 108 St Georges Tce (214m) and QV1 (163m).
A 27-level Stirling Tower (76m), on the corner of James and Stirling streets, and 42-level Roe Tower (122m), on Stirling St, are planned for later stages.
Construction is slated to start in late 2015, with the first tower completed by mid-2018. The as-yet unbranded scheme will create 804 residential flats and 144 serviced apartments across the three towers.
