Hunter Valley heritage hotel for makeover
Sydney-based designer Greg Natale has been engaged by Accor Hotels to refurbish The Sebel Kirkton Park Hunter Valley at Pokolbin.
The historic Kirkton Park on the Hunter Valley’s first vineyard estate will be designer’s first hotel project.
His brief encompasses reception, lounge, dining areas and all guest rooms plus the historic property’s existing vintage-inspired dßcor will be completely re-imagined and replaced with colour and pattern, Natale’s favoured design elements, centre stage. The redesign will incorporate pieces from his collaborations with Designer Rugs, Porter’s Paints and Teranova, and well as his furniture line with Worlds Away and an as-yet-unreleased collection with Casa Mia.
The refurbishment of Kirkton Park is due for completion by late 2015.
