Massive 1000 unit complex gets approval
Melbourne Architect Elenberg Fraser has gained approval for a 1035-apartment complex to be named 8 Bouverie Street.
But the anchor property on the former CUB Brewery site is back on the market after developer CEL Australia elected not to develop the asset. Situated over 2927m² of the larger brewery site and covering an entire block, 8 Bouverie Street is the focus of the urban renewal project.
Representing the largest permitted apartment development site offered for sale since 2013, the 78-storey 8 Bouverie Street was conceived and subsequently refined by Elenberg Fraser. Selling agent Colliers believes 8 Bouverie Street will be attractive to developers globally because of its size and landmark location.
