$122m FNQ complex to start in July
More than 200 apartments at Paradise Palms on the Northern Beaches of Cairns are to be built by Chinese developers.
Golden Lakes NQ P/L plans the start construction of 212 apartments in July on a 15.87ha development site acquired from the receivers of the failed HS Vision development group last July. The project will be worth around $122 million. It will consist of three buildings of five levels with about 15 apartments on the first four storeys and 10 on the top level. A fourth building will house four four-bedroom villas. There will also be an on-site manager’s office, retail store, a wet edge pool, barbecues, walking tracks and a gymnasium centered around two lakes.
Golden Lakes’ Robert Xing said the development was “Queensland’s largest private development outside of Brisbane/Gold Coast”.
Apartment sales will be handled by Evergreen Real Estate.
