The Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) will this week host the next event in its popular Leadership Speaker Series, focusing on the food and beverage industry.
The event, to be held on Wednesday 28 October, will feature two leaders from the hospitality industry sharing their career experiences specific to the food and beverage industry. The speakers for the event are BMIHMS alumnus, Andreas Brietfuss, Head of Catering & hospitality Services for ANZ Stadium, and Wayne Taranto, General Manager for Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
Wayne has previously worked as a Food & Beverage Operator and General Manager for a number of high profile properties, while Andreas is a third-generation hotelier who over the past 25 years has forged a distinguished and award-winning career in hospitality and business development.
In the interactive discussion, the panelists will discuss the challenges of operating multi-outlet facilities on a large scale and how best to manage these on a day-to-day basis.
