The HEATSTRIP® and Thermofilm Head Office is based in Melbourne, with all customer service, finance, R&D, production and warehousing based on this site, and serving world markets.
Innovation, quality and service are key drivers and all HEATSTRIP® products are designed and developed by an engineering team with extensive experience in research, testing, validation and product approvals.
The HEATSTRIP® Research & Development department utilise full CAD capabilities, extensive prototyping, material analysis and testing (then more testing), to ensure we lead the world in terms of quality and product excellence. All employees (not just manufacturing) undergo training in various systems such as 5S, JIT etc. to ensure world’s best practice and development of a culture of continuous improvement.
A cornerstone of all HEATSTRIP® operations is community involvement and reducing our environmental impact.
HEATSTRIP® is involved in supporting community organisations, whether it be by product donations or sponsorships. An example of this is our recent donation of a complete heating system to the Victorian State Emergency Service (SES) for their training room requirements, as well as HEATSTRIP® sponsorship of several local community basketball and netball sporting clubs, to assist with junior participation and development programs. Significant focus is also on Thermofilm’s environmental impact. This includes designing the HEATSTRIP® product to maximise recyclability of product components; sourcing parts to reduce embedded energy in the supply chain and retrofitting energy efficient appliances to the factory and offices.
All this ensures that when you purchase a HEATSTRIP® product, you will have full confidence in a world leading quality product and after sales service.
