Ingenia Holidays unveils $1 million summer upgrade at Kinka Beach Yeppoon Holiday Park

Ingenia Holiday Parks has announced a major $1 million upgrade and expansion of its Kinka Beach Yeppoon Holiday Park on Queensland’s Capricorn Coast, just in time for the summer holidays.

The works follow Ingenia’s recent acquisition of the beachfront site and form part of the company’s broader FY25 growth strategy to strengthen its coastal offering and enhance guest experiences across its 30-plus parks along Australia’s East Coast.

Set right on the golden sands of Kinka Beach, the park’s revitalisation will expand capacity and elevate comfort for families, grey nomads, and coastal travellers. The summer rollout will see 18 new accommodation options added, including:

  • 1 × three-bedroom cabin

  • 4 × two-bedroom cabins

  • 1 × refurbished four-bedroom home

  • 2 × two-bedroom accessible cabins

  • 2 × duplex pods (2 × two-bedroom studio-style units)

  • 6 × ensuite powered sites

These additions will double the park’s cabin offering, creating more flexibility for guests ahead of the busy holiday season.

“By investing in expanded and upgraded accommodation, we’re making space for more people to enjoy everything Kinka Beach has to offer,” said Ben Jones-Wilson, Operations Manager at Ingenia Holidays.

“We know how popular this region is during the warmer months, and these improvements mean more guests can stay comfortably right by the beach.”

The park already features two swimming pools, a games room, BBQ areas and dog-friendly zones, all within steps of the sand.

“With its prime location, natural appeal and these exciting upgrades, Kinka Beach Yeppoon Holiday Park is set to become a must-visit summer destination in Central Queensland,” Jones-Wilson added.

Designed to meet growing demand from both leisure travellers and long-stay workforce guests, the enhancements will roll out progressively over the summer, providing fresh, flexible accommodation options for coastal visitors.
