Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park elevates guest experience with wine barrel baths

How one regional caravan park is blending local identity and wine tourism to create an unforgettable guest experience.

Guests at Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park can now soak up the spirit of the wine region in a whole new way, with the introduction of handcrafted wine barrel baths.

“The idea to introduce wine barrel baths at Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park was inspired by our unique location in the heart of the Coonawarra wine region. We wanted to create something that truly reflected the local identity and offered guests an experience they wouldn’t find at a typical caravan park,” Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park owner and director, Nathan Seal said.

“We also saw it as a perfect fit for our e-bikes and our new glamping tents, a unique, relaxing feature that adds something special to both adventure and luxury-style stays,” Mr Seal said.

“By blending the region’s strong wine culture with comfort and relaxation, the wine barrel baths were designed to be a distinctive, memorable experience that connects guests with the local environment and lifestyle.”
