Mandala Hotels & Resorts and Radisson Hotel Group have announced the official opening of The Merchant Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals, a 58-room boutique property located at 63–65 Turbot Street, Brisbane.
Following its opening celebration, The Merchant Hotel marks the arrival of Radisson Individuals in Queensland, introducing a new accommodation offering for corporate, leisure and lifestyle travellers in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD.
Positioned beside Heritage Lanes and within Brisbane’s legal and corporate precinct, The Merchant Hotel’s management said it has been designed for guests who value convenience, comfort and character. The property “offers a contemporary hotel experience that reflects the city’s commercial heritage while providing the practical functionality expected by today’s business and leisure travellers”.

The hotel’s design takes inspiration from Brisbane’s trading history, combining character-led interiors with thoughtful guest amenities and flexible spaces.
At the centre of the property is The Lounge, a “relaxed yet functional space where guests can work, connect or unwind. It is supported by reliable connectivity, comfortable surrounds and a curated wine and beverage selection”.
The hotel’s location provides easy access to corporate offices, legal firms and key business precincts, while also placing guests close to South Bank, Queen Street Mall, dining, entertainment and Brisbane’s cultural attractions.
