Manenti Quinlan & Associates has announced the sale of the freehold interest in Hotel Forster, a 29-room motel at 26 The Lakes Way, Forster.
Set on an approximately 4,233 sqm site, the four-star property is distinguished by its recently built swimming pool, an inviting centrepiece for guests.

The motel also offers landscaped grounds, guest parking and a two-bedroom manager’s residence. The owners have continued to invest in the property, refurbishing 18 bathrooms and improving the guest rooms.
Hotel Forster has earned strong positive guest reviews, reflecting the quality of its accommodation and the service provided by its team. Its setting between Wallis Lake and the Pacific Ocean places guests within reach of the beaches, waterways and national parks that underpin Forster’s appeal as a coastal destination.

The combined Forster–Tuncurry population rose from 20,455 at the 2016 Census to 21,084 in 2021. Tourism adds another significant source of activity: Mid-Coast Council recorded 2.22 million visitors and $849 million in visitor spending across the wider Mid-Coast region in 2024.
Access from Sydney has improved with the September 2026 opening of the 15-kilometre M1 Pacific Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace, which bypasses the Hexham and Heatherbrae congestion points.
The Australian Government expects the new connection to save motorists seven to nine minutes in peak periods on that part of the route, making trips north more reliable for visitors travelling to destinations such as Forster.
