Superheroes join BIG4 Gold Coast to raise funds for Make-A-Wish

Batman and Wonder Woman will make a special appearance at BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park on Saturday 3 October, as the park and Warner Bros. Movie World team up to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Australia.

The event marks five years of partnership between Gold Coast Holiday Park and Make-A-Wish Australia, which has been the brand’s charity of choice since 2021. Guests have helped raise more than $22,500 in that time, including $5,000 from the park’s train ride, where $2 from every ticket goes directly to the charity.

“Our guests have been behind this from the very start, whether that is buying a train ticket or dropping a gold coin in on their way past,” said Lee Morgan, Park Manager at BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park.

“Having Batman and Wonder Woman here to mark five years of that support is a wonderful way to say thank you. There will be plenty of excited kids by the water park that morning, and every dollar raised goes to Make-A-Wish.”

Warner Bros. Movie World, Batman and Wonder Woman will meet guests at the park’s water park, joined by Gwen, BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park Mascot, who will be suited up in a cape for the occasion.

Movie World is also contributing day passes and merchandise to be given away throughout the morning. Guests can also take part in Waffles and Wishes, a fresh waffle in exchange for a donation, with every dollar raised on the day going to the charity.

Make-A-Wish Australia grants wishes for children living with a critical illness, giving them and their families something to look forward to during treatment.
