Marriott International hotels ranked among Condé Nast Top 10
Twenty-seven Marriott properties across Australia Pacific excluding China (APEC) were recognised in the US awards.
Marriott International is celebrating recognition of four of its hotels, ranked among Australia’s Top 10 in Condé Nast Traveller US 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards.
The group’s top ranked properties in Australia and New Zealand were The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne, W Melbourne and The Tasman, A Luxury Collection Hotel Hobart.

Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay was also recognised at #17 in the World Resorts category. In the Condé Nast Traveller UK 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards, The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne, W Sydney and The Tasman were also recognised among the top 10 properties in Australia and New Zealand.

Across its 205 guest rooms and suites, views stretch across the river and city, while a river view infinity pool and The Ritz-Carlton Spa offer a tranquil counterpoint to the rhythm of the city. At Hearth, Western Australian produce is celebrated through fire and season, while at Songbird rooftop bar and lounge, cocktails are served alongside sweeping city views.

The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne #2 in best Australia and New Zealand Hotels: Condé Nast US. #5 Australia and New Zealand Hotels: Condé Nast UK – Rising above Melbourne’s CBD, The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne occupies the tallest hotel tower in the city. The 257 guest rooms and suites feature views across Melbourne. Dining includes Atria, which focuses on local and seasonal produce, Cameo Bar and the 80th-floor Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge, while the 64th floor is home to the spa and infinity pool, offering panoramic city views.

W Melbourne #4 in best Australia and New Zealand Hotels: Condé Nast US – Located on Flinders Lane, W Melbourne brings the city’s laneway culture into its 294 guest rooms and suites, with a rebellious take on luxury designed for the art and culturally curious traveller. The hotel’s dining line-up includes Warabi, a Japanese omakase restaurant; Belasco, offering New York Italian cuisine and award-winning subterranean cocktail bar, Curious. The hotel also features a pool and poolside bar with city views, alongside a state-of-the-art fitness centre.

W Sydney #4 in best Australia and New Zealand Hotels: Condé Nast UK – Rising above Darling Harbour, W Sydney brings a bold, contemporary take on luxury to the waterfront, with 588 rooms and suites overlooking the harbour and city. Dining spans BTWN, a modern Australian restaurant and cocktail bar, Living Room and the double-storey 29/30 rooftop bar. The Tasman, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart #8 in best Australia and New Zealand Hotels: Condé Nast US. #5 Australia and New Zealand Hotels: Condé Nast UK – Overlooking Hobart’s historic waterfront and close to Salamanca Market, the 152-room The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart, occupies a collection of restored heritage buildings within Parliament Square. In addition, Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay was recognised at #17 in the Australia and New Zealand ranking.
