Wyndham Site Gets Underway
Construction is about to commence on the first stage of the $120 million Wyndham Hervey Bay Resort – the first of $1 billion worth of development projects planned for the Fraser Coast region.
Located opposite the Urangan Boat Harbour and comprising 162 luxury apartments and penthouses, full conference facilities for 300 guests and a lagoon pool, Wyndham Hervey Bay Resort will bolster the area’s growing tourism industry.
“Hervey Bay has been identified as a property investment hot spot, with growth predicted to outstrip the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast and Cairns,” said Charles Richards of 637 The Esplanade, the resort’s development company.
Stage one construction will begin in August 2011 and is expected to be completed by April 2013.
