Boost for WA Businesses
A new business development program designed specifically for Western Australian tourism operators has been launched by the state government.
Developed by the Small Business Development Corporation, the Tourism Boost program will aim to assist new and existing operators maximise opportunities in all economic conditions, according to commerce and small business minister Simon O’Brien.
Mr O’Brien said, “Understanding the industry, knowing how to make your business stand out from the crowd, and successfully marketing online is vital in today’s competitive tourism world.”
Tourism Boost workshops have been scheduled for regional and metropolitan locations throughout WA between August and December this year and an interactive online guide is available for those unable to attend a workshop, the minister said.
