Dialysis Walk to Raise Funds
Art Series Hotels’ Art Advisor and amateur walker, Ken McGregor is one week and 360km into a 1,300km walk.
The walk aims to raise awareness and funds for Indigenous health in the Western Desert.
Trekking his way from Alice Springs to Kiwirrkurra, Ken has the support of the Western Desert communities who face a serious shortage of dialysis for kidney disease. All money raised from Ken’s walk will help cover the operating costs of a mobile dialysis unit, delivering much needed aid to the most remote of communities.
