Murray Tourism for TV Program

The sights of the Murray region will be featured in Russell Goodrich’s Great Country Towns TV program.

Goodrich’s crew have been filming various aspects of the region including adventure sports in Dwellingup, houseboating in Ravenswood and central attractions such as the Edenvale complex and Cantwell Park.

Shire president Noel Nancarrow said in recent years the Shire of Murray had intensified its tourism focus, seeing it as a vital component of the local economy.

The program will be shown on West TV on September 8 and 12 and October 13 and 17. It will also be featured on Foxtel’s Aurora network three times per month from September to November.

“In our commitment to tourism the Shire has invested to be part of this program, targeting a wider audience and showcasing the many attractions of Murray,” Mr Nancarrow said.

The Murray will also be part of a Peel region tourism promotion that will soon include billboards on the Forrest Highway.
