Upgrade for Sanctuary Cove Five-Star
The Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove has announced plans for a multimillion-dollar makeover next year.
The move is poised to deliver the most substantial upgrade of the five-star property since it was developed in the 1980s and will involve a refit of the hotel’s 247 rooms including the bathrooms.
General manager Patrick Hardy said the cost of the upgrade was being finalised and that two prototype rooms had been completed. The plans come following a surge in hotel bookings over July and strong forward bookings for the rest of the year.
Mr Hardy said occupancy in July had jumped 20 percentage points, although he declined to reveal the month’s total occupancy rate.
