Gold Coast Over 50s Resorts for Sale
Four resorts for the over-50s will be sold off after Gold Coast company Lifestyle Resorts Australia and associated companies were put in the hands of receivers owing around $1.5 million.
John Greig and Richard Hughes of Deloitte have been appointed as receivers and managers of the companies, which are owned by property developer Bob Morrison.
The businesses will continue to trade but a marketing campaign will start next month to sell off the assets.
The companies own Riverside Residential Resort in Upper Coomera, Lifestyle Resorts Australia Tweed Coast at Banora Point, Oyster Cove Residential Resort at Yamba and Rockhampton North Lifestyle Resort in central Queensland.
