Industry Briefing Dates Announced
Tourism Australia has confirmed dates and locations for its 2011 industry briefings held around Australia and is inviting industry to register their attendance.
The free-of-charge half day briefings hosted by Tourism Australia executives directly with industry will provide: a market update to the tourism industry; an update on Tourism Australia’s activity; outcomes from the 2011 Australian Tourism Directions Conference, tourism’s premier annual conference; an update on the 2020 Tourism Industry Potential; an update on the National Long Term Tourism Strategy; and more.
The briefings will be held between 08.30 and 12.30 in: Brisbane, Monday 17 October; Cairns, Tuesday 18 October; Darwin, Wednesday 19 October; Perth, Thursday 20 October; Adelaide, Wednesday 26 October; Melbourne, Thursday 27 October; Hobart, Friday 28 October; and Sydney, Thursday 3 November. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage on key tourism issues with leaders in the industry in your state.
