MEA Launches the ‘Conversation Table’

Meetings & Events Australia presents a new learning lunch series for event professionals – the Conversation Table: Accelerating Leadership.

The first of the events will be held in Sydney in the stunning Ivy Room on 7 October 2011 and will debate ‘Innovation in Events! A good idea or just a fad?’

Hosting the discussions will be Nigel Collin, renowned celebrity speaker and facilitator. Battling it out on either side of the debate will be Jean Kittson, comedian and writer on the side against innovation and pro innovation will be Dan Gregory a leader in the field of marketing and a regular on ABC TV’s The Gruen Transfer.

Linda P Gaunt, CEO of Meetings & Events Australia says she hopes the event inspires people to think in different ways and take what they learnt back to their colleagues.

“MEA is all about creating excellence in all aspects of event management and part of this is brainstorming and hearing opinions on all sides. Guests will get to network and build business contacts and learn from experts,” comments Ms Gaunt.

It is envisaged that this event will occur three times a year and there will be a Melbourne location for one of the series.

The event will be held at The Ivy Room on 7 October 2011 from 12 until 2.30pm. Tickets cost $90 & GST per person.
