Air Australia days away from new brand
Air Australia, the newly branded Strategic Airlines has unveiled its new look,
entering its first gold and green jet into service this week.
While the airline’s complete transition into the low-cost brand will not kick-off until 15 November, the carrier has unveiled its new livery, flight attendant uniforms as well as new routes. Air Australia will fly initially to Bali, Phuket and Honolulu as well as continue to operate on existing Strategic Airlines routes. The airline has also obtained the rights to operate between Australia and China and the US.
Chief executive Michael James said, “Air Australia will avoid the massive product complexity of larger airlines as we do not want to be strapped down to charging our passengers ever higher fares to cover ever escalating costs. Many of our staff and advisors have extensive airline backgrounds and we have seen it all before, we understand the challenges of the industry and we understand the market.”
