Spa Manager Returns to Byron Bay
The Byron at Byron Spa and Wellness Centre continues to delight guests with a refreshed spa menu featuring a unique outdoor couples massage set deep within the 20ha rainforest that surrounds the resort.
The massage has been developed by returning spa manager Melinda Dunn and is testament to the unsurpassed experience guests can expect from the multi-award winning Spa.
Melinda Dunn has recently returned to her previous position as spa manager and brings over 12 years’ experience in the beauty and fitness industry including owning and managing her own beauty and fitness business and three years managing the spa from 2007 to 2009. Melinda leads a team of professionals who are passionate about health and wellness.
Named The Elements of Nature, the outdoor couples massage is a quintessential rainforest experience to be enjoyed with a friend. Guest’s spa therapist creates a private escape within the subtropical rainforest surrounded by flowing netting, where they will be ensconced by the soothing sounds of nature, the ultimate environment to enjoy a full body massage with macadamia nut and fragonia essential rainforest oils developed especially by iKou.
The outdoor couples massage is a feature treatment of the spa’s signature menu which showcases the unique attributes of the natural environment, incredible therapists and the Byron at Byron ethos to create a memorable and spiritual journey for guests.
Inspired by nature, the signature spa menu celebrates the majestic rainforest and the invigorating ocean set on the doorstep of the resort. Signature treatments encompass native Australian ingredients and rituals distinctive to Byron Bay, each named in tribute to the natural surrounds and showcasing iKou and Pevonia Botanica products.
The Byron at Byron Spa and Wellness Centre encompasses six luxurious treatment rooms, spa, steam room, relaxation area and Vichy shower, designed to leave guests with a stillness of mind and reenergised soul. Daily yoga classes are facilitated by life extension specialist Sheldon Leon and take place on the Spa deck complementing the treatment offering.
