Wyndham Expands to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast
Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company, has announced the latest addition to its continued expansion of Ramada hotels in the South Pacific region on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
SurfAir on Marcoola Beach will be rebranded Ramada Hotel and Conference Centre Marcoola Beach.
“I’m delighted to align our Marcoola Beach property and further expand the Ramada brand in Australia” said Barry Robinson, managing director for Wyndham Hotel Group in the South Pacific.
Ramada Marcoola Beach is ideally positioned in an absolute beachfront location in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, just minutes drive from the airport and close to many tourism attractions. It offers a combination of hotel rooms and apartments, six conference rooms from ballroom to boardroom and onsite facilities including a lagoon-style swimming pool, gymnasium, bar and restaurant.
Damien Keenan, Ramada Marcoola Beach general manager said, “The strength and reputation of the international Ramada brand will be a welcome addition to the area and is sure to attract more domestic and international travellers to the region.”
