Perth hotels ready for rebranding
Crown is continuing the rebranding of its Perth operation with a change in name for the two hotels at the Burswood Entertainment Complex.
Following the recent announcement that Burswood would be changing its name to Crown Perth later this year in line with Crown’s Melbourne operation, Crown has announced the InterContinental Perth Burswood and Holiday Inn Perth Burswood hotels will also undergo full re-brand. With its refurbishment due to be completed in July the InterContinental Perth Burswood will change its name to Crown Metropol, and the Holiday Inn Perth Burswood will change its name to Crown Promenade.
The new Crown Metropol Perth will aim to offer a world-class luxury facility, with fully refurbished floor foyers, guest rooms, suites and lobby areas. The new Isika Spa and Fitness have already opened at the property, with Isika Hair and Body Bar to follow in May. The hotel offering is complemented by Crown’s premium dining portfolio, including restaurant brands such as Neil Perry’s Rockpool Bar & Grill, Nobu Perth, and Modo Mio Cucina Italiana, with Bistro Guillaume to open in September 2012.
Meanwhile Crown Promenade Perth will be positioned as stylish but more affordable second tier of accommodation at the complex.
