Waterview Broome resort for sale
The Mangrove Resort Hotel in Broome with its multi-million-dollar views over Roebuck Bay is to be sold by its Queensland-based owner Christian Ainsworth.
The 68-room resort near Broome’s famed Chinatown district is being listed with Peter Robertson of Claremont’s Robertson Realty.
Described as “the best waterfront resort in Broome” and put up for sale by tender to acquire the business and freehold, Mr Robertson said Mr Ainsworth was keen to rationalise his eastern states-focussed property portfolio after purchasing the Mangrove Resort about six years ago for about $12 million.
Mr Robertson indicated that he had been dealing with a handful of interested parties; a mix of local and foreign players that he described as serious contenders to make the acquisition.
