Wyndham Celebrates Surfers Paradise Sales Site Opening
Gold Coast hospitality company, Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific celebrated the launch of its new Surfers Paradise sales office today.
The opening of the newly expanded site located at Wyndham Surfers Paradise Hotel, 3018 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, celebrates the sixth sales site to open in almost as many months for this rapidly expanding company that is part of the Wyndham Worldwide group of companies.
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific launched the vacation ownership club, WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham, in 2001 with one resort located at Coolangatta, Queensland. Today, the company is the largest vacation ownership business in Australia. It has a network of 18 sales sites and 23 resorts located across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, including four resorts in Queensland and more than 44,500 owners in the WorldMark South Pacific Club.
Addressing the audience today, Barry Robinson, CEO and managing director, Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, said, “I am very proud to welcome our Queensland owners and introduce potential owners to the concept of vacation ownership through our new sales site.
This site is also an education centre where we invite our owners and guests to come in and meet the team personally. It’s our opportunity to get to know you better and understand how we can help you. We know our owners love being part of the WorldMark South Pacific Club and having this site in Surfers Paradise is important to us so we can facilitate their needs.”
The state-of-the-art facilities include a VIP owner’s room, a custom designed children’s area with play stations plus a stylish presentation room. The new office is home to over 20 staff.

In 2010 the opening of the all-suite hotel Wyndham Surfers Paradise, home of the Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific Surfers Paradise sales site, marked the first Wyndham branded hotel in Australia as part of Wyndham Hotel Group’s expansion into the South Pacific. It is the hotel division’s first mixed-use property in a joint partnership with Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific. The combination of accommodation available includes 40 apartments for use by WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham owners and a number of apartments in the 192 room property available to the general public.
