Schoolies.com Chalks up Half a Million Bookings
The official Schoolies website for more than 20 years, schoolies.com has chalked up a major milestone, booking its 500,000th customer this week.
Schoolies.com CEO Matthew Lloyd said the company was very proud to have reached the magic half-million mark in providing safe and memorable holidays for Australian school leavers. The lucky 500,000th Schoolie is Lauren Bourke from Our Lady’s College Annerley, Brisbane, who receives $500 from schoolies.com to go towards her Schoolies holiday.
“It’s incredible to think that 500,000 school leavers have now turned to schoolies.com to celebrate their new-found freedom,” Mr Lloyd said. “For more than two decades we have stood the test of time as the central booking site of Schoolies Week, arranging Schoolies holidays for over 30,000 customers each year.
He said Surfers Paradise remained the overwhelming favourite Schoolies destination, with the Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay, Lorne, Magnetic Island, Airlie Beach and Bali also in the mix.
