A Toast to a Decade of Friendly Service
A decade of friendly smiles and first-class hospitality were celebrated at the award-winning Wyndham Vacation Resorts Kirra Beach this week.
The 100-room coastal resort celebrated 10 years of family-friendly service at the peaceful southern Gold Coast destination of Kirra Beach North. Approximately 500 resort guests and both past and present staff were invited to join the festivities.
The party kicked off with a barbecue, finger-food snacks as well as a large cake-cutting and candle-blowing ceremony.
Since commencing operation in 2003 as the first vacation ownership resort for Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific’s vacation owners in its WorldMark South Pacific Club, Wyndham Kirra Beach has offered a laid-back family escape close to beautiful beaches, hinterland, theme parks and restaurants. Today the resort is a popular year-round holiday destination and provides modern and stylish, family-friendly apartments, with spectacular ocean views for vacation owners and guests. It is now one of 24 resorts in Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific’s portfolio.
Matt Taplin, senior vice president of resort operations and property development, recalled the resort’s landmark beginnings as the first purpose-built property of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific.
“In the past 10 years, Wyndham Kirra Beach has become a favourite family destination and is now one of our most popular resorts in our portfolio,” he said.
“I would like to thank the entire team at the resort for continuously providing Count On Me! service and making this a home away from home for many of our owner families and guests.”
