Plans for 13-level Adelaide hotel
The Lester Group has announced plans for a $150 million office and hotel development opposite the new Royal Adelaide Hospital site.
Damian Lester said the Enigma 8 project would include a 13-storey hotel as well as an 18-level office complex, supermarket, specialty shops, cafe and private medical suites.
Plans have been lodged with the Development Assessment Commission and, if approved, construction would start next year and be completed by the end of 2016.
Project leader Damien Ellis, from planning firm Intro, said there was demand for the hotel to be built “immediately”, while timing for the office tower would depend on securing tenants to win bank finance.
