Pet-friendly accommodation at Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour

You can now bring your four-legged best friend on a post-lockdown holiday.

With demand for pet-friendly accommodation venues on the rise, Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour is now welcoming four-legged guests. 

The Sydney hotel is set to welcome dogs as part of a new pet-friendly accommodation offering. “Pawfect Packages” will allow guests to stay in Sydney’s CBD with their family pet by their side.

Humans and their dogs will have a choice of a standard king room, a superior king room or a twin deluxe room. Pets will be provided with plush dog bedding and a food and water bowl, along with puppicino beverages at Cafe 58.

Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour is close to plenty of walking routes and a range of pet-friendly dining facilities. There are also nearby dog-friendly destinations, including Tumbalong Park and Harmony Park.

Whopper the Berner, known as @thebigwhop on Instagram, visited the hotel to try out the pet-friendly accommodation offering and starred in the latest website images. Whopper and his owner were fans of the experience!

If one thing is for certain, it’s that lockdowns bring pups and their owners even closer together,” said Eugene Human, general manager at Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour. “We want to make sure that bond and level of quality time continues well beyond the current restrictions and are excited to welcome patrons back to our Sydney-centric hotel for the ultimate staycation with their best friend once it is safe to do so.” 

The pet-friendly accommodation package will cost a supplement of $80 per night, with one dog of up to 20 kg permitted per room. Room rates at the hotel start from $299 per night.
