Following a multi-million refurbishment, Adina Apartment Hotel Chippendale has reopened and is once again welcoming guests.
Operated by TFE, Hotels, the 42-key apartment style hotel is located on Ivy Street in Chippendale on the southern edge of Sydney’s CBD, and like so many of Sydney’s industrial areas, the suburb’s converted warehouses, cool cafes, hawker-style eateries, and galleries make it one of the trendiest areas to live in.
The inner-city hotel’s dramatic transformation sees an abundance of white paint enfused with calming sage greens, musky pinks, dove greys which give the hotel a bold, fresh feel combined with the bold curtains, terrazzo in the bathrooms and kitchens, and retro-inspired furniture and fixtures.
Sydney-based BKH who spearheaded the design in what represents their first hotel project in more than a decade, say that the hotel’s distinctive architecture and cute centralised courtyard and pool provided the inspiration for the retro-feel interior design.
According to TFE Hotels Senior Director of Sales, Shahnaz Bakhshay, the new and improved Adina is a hotel that corporate travellers have already embraced and that leisure travellers are going to have on their radar very soon.
“This urban lifestyle hotel has all the things you know and love about an Adina property including a kitchen and laundry that allow you stay your way and feel genuinely comfy in the space,” she said.
“Plus, it is superbly located near the Seymour Centre, the Carriageworks multi-arts urban cultural precinct, the Australian Technology Park, and close to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Redfern’s nightlife and we can’t wait to take it to market.”
