Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins open for business
Vastly experienced Ketaki Kelkar to take management reins
Located on one of Melbourne’s most iconic laneways, Melbourne’s newest hotel, Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins has opened officially opened its doors.
Part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts’ family and opened in partnership with Pro-invest Hotels, this brand new, design-led hotel is positioned as the perfect base for smart, savvy travellers who can experience more for less in the heart of the city’s best shopping, dining, and cultural attractions.
Each of the property’s 312 modern guest rooms have been designed to offer a seamless and comfortable stay and feature special touches such as a study nook, speedy WiFi, walk-in power shower and an ‘Express Recharge’ zone designed to deliver a comfortable and restful overnight boost with premium bedding, choice of firm and soft pillows and black-out blinds.
As part of the brand’s signature benefits, guests can kick start their day with a complimentary Express Start Breakfast or alternatively, the choice of the Express Start Breakfast Grab & Go option instead.
In line with the opening, Pro-invest Hotels has announced the appointment of its senior management team for the property.
Ms Ketaki Kelkar has been named Hotel Manager while Klarisa Dzambo has been appointed to the role of Assistant Hotel Manager,
Ketaki’s experience includes roles at luxury hotel Atlantis, The Palm; Dubai, Grand Hyatt, Mumbai and Aloft, Abu Dhabi, it was an internship at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel that ignited Ketaki’s passion for hospitality management.
Graduating from Le Cordon Bleu, Adelaide with a Master of International Hospitality Management, Ketaki most recently worked at the Rendezvous Hotel, Melbourne where she was responsible for a team of over 15 staff and supporting overall hotel operations.
Klarisa’s appointment follows a career trajectory with Holiday Inn Express which includes stints as part of the pre-opening team and then Duty Manager at Holiday Inn Express Southbank.
