Kristen Foat takes GM role at QT Melbourne
“Disruptor” primed to deliver hotel’s signature quirky luxury offering
QT Hotels & Resorts has appointed Kristen Foat as General Manager of QT Melbourne.Ms Foat joined QT Melbourne in 2020 as Director of Sales and Marketing, bringing with her more than a decade of experience from the Art Series Hotel Group where her responsibilities oversaw the sales and marketing strategy.
Her experience also extends to senior roles with other luxury brands including the Hilton Melbourne and Sofitel Melbourne on Collins .
Announcing the appointment, QT Hotels & Resorts Group General Manager, Callum Kennedy said Kristen’s invaluable knowledge will uplift an already passionate and eclectic team who deliver highly individualised signature service.
“I’m thrilled for Kristen’s next chapter with QT. She’s a disruptor. Her strong leadership will continue to encouraging our eclectic teams who deliver our highly individualised signature service throughout our hubs of quirky luxury,” he said.
Ms Foat said she was excited for the opportunity to lead such a talented group of individuals.
“We will continue to deliver an experience for all our guests that is like no other. It has been amazing to see Melbourne come alive again and there is no stopping us as we take QT Melbourne to the next level in 2022 and beyond,” she said.
One of Ms Foat’s key objectives will be to continue to elevate QT Melbourne’s status as a designer destination with award-winning restaurants and bars, conferencing and boutique accommodation.
